About Us
Where Little Minds Grow in Faith, Character, and Knowledge
The Children's Place Child Development Center (TCP) is a licensed, Christ-centered early childhood and school-age education program serving children from infancy through school age.
We believe every child is uniquely created by God with a purpose and tremendous potential. Our mission is to provide exceptional early childhood and school-age education in a safe, loving, and Christ-centered environment where children grow in faith, character, and knowledge.
Through developmentally appropriate, play-based learning, meaningful relationships, and biblical values, we nurture the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. Our goal is not only to prepare children for kindergarten and academic success, but also to help them develop integrity, compassion, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.
We recognize that parents are a child's first and most important teachers. That's why we strive to build strong partnerships with families through open communication, mutual respect, and shared goals. Together, we create a foundation that supports each child's success both in the classroom and beyond.
As a teaching institution, TCP is also committed to investing in the future of early childhood education by mentoring student teachers and supporting the professional growth of educators who are called to serve children with excellence, compassion, and love.
Whether your child is just beginning their journey as a Little Explorer or growing into a confident Trailblazer, we would be honored to partner with your family.

Patience
These values are woven throughout our curriculum, daily routines, and interactions with children, families, and staff.
A Teaching Institution
One of the things that makes TCP unique is our commitment to developing future educators.
The Children's Place proudly serves as a teaching institution, partnering with colleges and universities to mentor future early childhood professionals. Student teachers and volunteers receive hands-on learning experiences under the guidance of experienced mentor teachers while serving in a real classroom environment.
For the safety and well-being of every child:
-
All student teachers and volunteers are appropriately screened before working in our program.
-
Families are notified in advance whenever a student teacher begins serving in a classroom.
-
Student teachers are never left alone with children and remain under the direct supervision of qualified TCP staff at all times.
We believe investing in future educators strengthens our profession and ultimately benefits the children and families we serve.
